The room temperature in the dental clinic should be not too cold, and not too hot.

The light in your face should be gentle. In most cases you’ll wear glasses to protect your eyes.

Your head and neck should be in a relaxed comfortable position that will allow the dentist to work efficiently.

Bottom line, you need to tell your clinician if you are uncomfortable in any way.
